I will say that that I have paid and played FFXIV since 1.0
Why is the "Moonfire Faire" event longer than "The Rising" event?
After putting as much time as you did into "The Rising" - why is it so short?
I was able to complete the "Moonfire Faire" event a while ago and went to log in today to complete "The rising" event....only to find that the NPC Noroma is not there.
To make an event that thanks each and every character that has made FFXIV possible today, it shouldn't be so short.
I will say that that I have paid and played FFXIV since 1.0, participated in beta and have played 2.0 from early access until today (even purchased HW).
Why was the event so short? Why not extend it for another week? I would like to complete it.
I will also say....its summer. People have RL things to do . For some reason I thought it ended on the 9th, and this is not the case. Now I am stuck with a quest that I am unable to turn in and I am pretty let down, to say the least.
Coming from someone who has 363 days, 10 hours and 10 minutes of gameplay, I guess I expected more.
Please consider extending this event for at least another week, or you are going to lose another sub.
Also, I know the responses to expect from my post. I don't care. Please continue to justify how/why this event was so short, please do. I just merely want to turn it in. Is that so much to ask? I think not.
* I should also note that while I was filing a few Help Desk tickets about this today, I saw numerous people come to this area looking for the NPC to turn in this quest. Its not just me.
You would think that "The Rising" event would last longer than "The Moofire Faire" event considering the time you put into it - why wasn't it?
I would really like a rep response on this, thanks.
Final Fantasy XIV Patch 3.3 Trailer Discussion
In a turnabout from 3.1 and 3.2 the Main Scenario Quest segment is first, consisting of nothing but Aymeric seemingly trying to get Hraesvelgr to finally get off his feathery arse and help us, and the fierce Battle on the Big Br- er, the Final Steps of Faith
Final Fantasy XIV opinions and playstyles
Most people view kicking players as a last resort. Despite the horror stories that you might hear here, this does not happen in the majority of dungeon runs.
SE is scared of making "FFXI RDM Syndrome" in FFXIV by making sure that buffs kinda help
And also classes like BRD/MCH lacking definition to be grouped with Specialized DPS when its pretty clear they are meant to be a "Support Role."
For those that want skill bonuses on gear: How would you do it?
partly because the developers would not have to create dozens of versions of the same piece of gear just for different bonuses, and players would have to choose between getting the ability bonus and using a stat materia instead.
Summoner had it good with Dreadwyrm Trance and Deathflare
This content cycle we have Alexander (my favorite summon, although we haven't seen much of him proper) so maybe 4.0 onwards we'd get a trance to tie into Alexander.
